Giving Always Matters.

There has been one day each May for the past seven years that the community has come together and showered our nonprofits with its generosity.

Together, since 2014, we have cumulatively raised nearly $21 million with a total of 147,642 for area schools, faith-based institutions and charities working hard to make a difference.

The Big Payback. It’s Middle Tennessee’s online, 24-hour giving day. LEARN MORE.

The Big Payback annually hosts more than 900 organizations and helps lift them up by providing tools to engage and encourage others to support the work that they do — the other 364 days of the year.

And this year, more than ever, nonprofits still need our support.

For so many of us the year 2020 signified a new decade to take on the world’s problems with full-force and a clear vision.

In 2021, Middle Tennesseans continue to face uncertainty that stems from multiple disasters and the aftermath; loss of homes, gigs, business, and health. The economic impact is unfolding.

These disasters have forced hundreds of organizations to slow down or put their important work on hold at a time when we need them the most. They are:

Feeding the hungry ∙ Sheltering the homeless ∙ Fighting for the rights of the underserved ∙ Fostering the animals ∙ Preserving the arts ∙ Providing a safe haven ∙ Protecting the environment ∙ Teaching the children ∙ Taking care of each other.

The Big Payback.

It is 24 hours to celebrate the spirit of giving and collaboration, and ultimately, the extraordinary work that nonprofits do in Middle Tennessee.

Let’s come together online at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 through 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 6 and give to the organizations that help make Middle Tennessee a place we’re proud to call home. Because giving always matters.
